Curtis helps mid-career professionals and entrepreneurs maximise their unique contribution and value to the world, while developing fulfilling careers. He is a qualified career practitioner and entrepreneur coach, blending traditional career development with ongoing professional development to help people manage the complexities of the modern world of work. He has been working with mid-career professional in this capacity since 2018, coming from a background in business strategy and financial services prior to that.

Understanding that the 90,000+ hours spent at work is a large part of your life, Curtis believes that reaching your potential at work goes a long way towards living a good, fulfilling life. Curtis created Careers Aligned, to help people align their careers with their core values and strengths so that they can live happier more fulfilling lives now, not putting off the enjoyment of life until retirement.

Curtis is passionate about helping organisations and individuals develop their unique competitive advantages and to integrate this within their work environment to achieve greater fulfilment and financial security. This doesn’t necessarily mean a career or organisation change; it means finding a way that best suits you to do your best work and increase fulfilment.

With a background in financial services and private enterprise (read: not academia nor pedagogy), Curtis is passionate about innovation and creating value, particularly within the ‘engine room’ of the Australian economy, SME’s. This offers a unique perspective for clients wanting to understand and develop their careers within the realities of the economy, without losing sight of what leads to a fulfilling life.
